Blue Wren at Brighton Beach

Just before sunset I was walking the dog back home along the coast path in Brighton when I spotted a pair of fairy wrens flittering in the last rays of sunlight. I paused and changed lenses, setting up for the shot. Fortunately the male of the species, also known as the blue wren, stayed close for long enough to capture this single shot. The pair then disappeared into the shrubs as the sun dipped below the horizon.
